So Sturgill Simpson is the greatest singer song writer out there right now in my opinion. I’ve been obsessed with his music and message since Meta Modern Sounds in Country Music. Turtles All the Way Down is one of my favorite songs ever. When I was in the early days of my recovery he released Sound and Fury with the anime on Netflix and it played in the background as I painted almost everyday. All that and his cover of “In Bloom” may be the best cover of any cover ever. I love Sturgill.

With the report of McDavid having Montreal on his short list of teams he’d like to land on if it doesn’t work out in EDM, I’d like to reiterate the following…
There is no team in the league outside of Montreal that can say they have the following:
A perennial cup contending team ✅
The money to sign him or take him in✅
Strong management ✅
Big hockey market ✅
Assets to trade him ✅
And most important of all is the player’s interest in joining said franchise and it also appears to be there. Not going to get my hopes up yet, but this is a real, legit possibility at some point in the next two years.
