Janet Lindsley is a Professor of Biochemistry at the University of Utah, who started her career leading a research lab that studied enzyme mechanisms, and pivoted to medical and science education.
She served for 15 years as assistant dean of curriculum (until July 2025) at the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine. Her recent scholarship has focused on how basic science education impacts the professional identity development of medical learners.
