Just to be clear, Albo hasn't been left leaning for a long time so don't expect hime to look after low income families in a real and meaningful way. Albo is still keeping us below the inflation rate and doing nothing to help the housing crisis... in real terms.

Today was another kick in the guts by federal Labor to low income working families and individuals in desperate need of long term rental housing. The Greens policies at least stay ahead of immigration intake. Labor have lost their way, they aren't looking after social issues.

The money raised will help ensure families have a place to stay when children are undergoing treatment. It provides meaningful support to kids and families, making a very hard time a bit easier for everyone.

More Australians to be homeless as #NRAS funding ceases and what are Governments doing about the URGENCY - NOTHING. By the end of 2024 there will be more than 62,000 Australians facing homelessness. Federal and State Governments have known about this since 2008.
