I know it’s only the price of one missile but why was the MoD paying for a royal refurb - albeit indirectly with the rest from the Crown Estate, owned by the Treasury ie you and me! bit.ly/4g8u5LJ 50 rooms and 21 hectares is quite a home even for a Duke.

Academic, legislative, and charity evidence indicates a strong correlation between political rhetoric surrounding welfare reform and a rise in hostility and hate crimes against disabled people. Disability hate crimes are on the rise. Helen et al. need holding to account.
1 in 4 people now report as disabled. But we can't afford to sign off 25% off the population. Bold action is needed. Not piecemeal tweaks. @Conservatives will rip up the current sickness benefits system and start again. This morning I'll kick off our review at @restate_thinks

If true, arrogance is disappointing Why should Starmer stand down when it's obvious that the membership is behind him.
Oh how kind of the patronising @AndyBurnhamGM to allow Keir Starmer 72 hours to resign! I’m afraid Mr Burnham you have a shock coming. KeirStarmer is going nowhere. Andy Burnham plans to give Starmer ā€˜space’ to resign after by-election, say allies ft.com/content/0881dc9b-39d8… via @ft

The UK is the 5th highest military spender in the world (the US, China, Russia & Germany spend more). The Tories spent 40 years defunding defence, but suddenly, it's Starmer's fault. They've wasted money on the wrong things; but throwing more money at the problem is no answer.

Replying to @Helen_Whately
Once again misrepresenting the actual facts. PIP is not an out of work benefit. It helps some disabled people actually go to work. Instead of trying to stir up hatred towards disabled people, maybe start looking for money from ridiculous MP expenses and tax dodgers.

It's amazing how mental health services are happy to discharge parents after one attempted phone call and don't think of notifying the referring Practitioner.

15 year old James speaking to #C4News on the social media ban "I would benefit a lot from the social media ban because I find myself aimlessly scrolling a lot" "It can negatively impact me and affect my social life" "Sometimes I get invited out by friend, say I'm busy, then spend my time at home scrolling, wasting the day"

The UK economy basically works like this: Get paid £2,000. Give £900 to a landlord. Give £200 to the council. Give £150 to energy companies. Give £300 to supermarkets. Give £300 to car insurance and fuel. Spend the rest surviving until next payday. Then get lectured by someone who bought their house for £37,000 in 1988 about how you need to stop buying coffees and cancel subscriptions.

ā—ļø305 avoidable deaths every week ā—ļøequivalent to a jumbo jet crashing every week This national health emergency was Streeting’s legacy, tho he claimed his job was done. Marginally lower waiting lists are down to ā€˜validation’ and ā€˜data scraping’ - deaths continue. šŸ™ˆStreeting chose to ignore years of validated shocking data from the Royal College of Emergency Medicine on avoidable deaths caused by delayed access to urgent treatment. šŸ”We cannot allow the new Health Sec to ignore this - urgent action is needed now @keepnhspublic @TheDA_UK @EveryDoctorUK @JustTreatment @RCollEM

Blaming asylum seekers for homelessness? What about the 720,000 empty homes in England, and the 1,627,450 second homes in England alone. Blaming asylum seekers for expensive food shops? What about the £3,100,000,000 profit Tesco made last year? Blaming asylum seekers for expensive energy bills? What about the £438,000,000,000 made by just 20 energy companies in profit? Blaming immigrants for not getting an NHS appointment? What about the 260,000 migrant workers keeping the NHS going? And what about the 25% real term cut in NHS funding, think that could do it? Blaming people on welfare for a lack of money to fund the NHS? What about the £36,000,000,000 tax gap due to avoidance and evasion by the elite? It's time to realise it's not immigrants, asylum seekers or people on welfare causing you any harm, it's capitalism and the mega rich hoarding all the wealth.

Farage's agenda is so transparent. "I can't be racist as I have a black friend" Most Reform voters would ship them both out in a heartbeat.

9 years later not a single person has been put on trial for Grenfell. But they can lock up people who inconvenience a Genocide for 24 years because they are 'terrorists'. The UK is a sick place and Justice is only for the rich to use against the poor.

It's the least that MPs could do for their local grassroots football club
Big thank you to Selby MP Keir Mather and team for their renewed support of the club for 2026/27.
