ALT Writer in Residence at Green College: Call for Applications
Green College, a residential facility for graduate students and a public venue for non-curricular academic and artistic presentations at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver), invites applications for the post of Writer in Residence, with no restriction as to genre (including fiction and nonfiction), for placement at some point in the academic years of 2024-25 through to 2028-29.
The appointed writer, who will be a Canadian citizen (or permanent resident of Canada) with a home address outside the BC Lower Mainland, will live at the College on the UBC campus for three months (September-November or January-March). Activities of the residency will be comprised of: the writer’s current work (at least 60%); presenting that or other work in public plus organizing and hosting public activities at Green College with other writers, artists, scholars, etc. invited by the visiting writer with support from the College (25%);
