Every dollar invested in the Peacebuilding Fund is designed to catalyze more.
As @bjw_williams Chief, @UNPeacebuilding Fund branch, explains, PBF investments are mobilizing tens of millions in additional financing, while putting durable systems in place.
In the Sahel, PBF support has helped establish cross-border networks to manage tensions between herders and farmers and strengthen prevention mechanisms that endure.
That’s catalytic peacebuilding finance.

The 1600 PNG Village Courts (VC) are an essential frontline conflict resolution institution. Great to learn about their functioning & how to increase the role of women as magistrates & land mediators from the DoJ’s VC Director. @iompng helps rebuild destroyed spaces for VCs.
