Guys, Not sure if you know this but the Edakunni v. Mayorkas settlement that mandated the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to bundle together the processing of specific forms for H-1B, H4 & H4-EAD will expire on January 18th, 2025. This means only H-1B will be approved and H4/H4-EAD will die in the long wait leading to job loss for your respective spouse. Very soon even H4-EAD will be on the chopping block. The folks on the sidelines hoping that everything will be just fine are living is the state of denial. @immivoice was on the fore front of the battle to save H4-EAD program but they cannot do it alone without your support. Number of employers nationally that are "H1B dependent" per the DOL is 0.167% i.e. microscopic in impact. % Employers who do not hire H1B is 99.8%. Silly to pretend that unemployed folks are unemployed because of the 0.167% in a market with 8.098 million OPEN jobs.

Elon Musk is wrong. The main function of the H-1B visa program is not to hire “the best and the brightest,” but rather to replace good-paying American jobs with low-wage indentured servants from abroad. The cheaper the labor they hire, the more money the billionaires make.

Here's an H1B visa stat for you: Last year, the top 30 H-1B visa employers laid off 84,556 people at the same time as they sought 34,414 new H1-B foreign workers. This includes firms such as @elonmusk's Tesla.

Instead of posting lists of LCA data to claim that H-1B visas are going to cooks and cashiers, let's look at the actual H-1B data. No cooks found 👇
