Yep, that reel playing in the background is probably one of the first reels i’ve ever confidently made myself.
Mostly because until this week, i was always the guy analysing video content creators, not becoming one.
Just got back from seven days at a Founder Creator Residency in Goa.
Walked in thinking content was about posting more but realised it as the leverage tool of the decade. Creators aren't content people anymore, they're media companies at this point.
Every viral piece is the deliberate output of a hook, a retention loop and a story followed by a monetisation layer. All stacked together it's a massive business and a full time thing, not a side project.
The curriculum by
@LevelUp_edu guys was much sharper than I expected it included:
- ssiq scriptwriting
- pattern interrupts every 8–12 seconds
- the five hook types
- three reasons most copy fails
- awareness vs conversion content
Every one of them applies to gtm as much as to reels.
Thought i'd come back with better editing skills instead came back rewriting how i think about distribution.
Most of the marketing playbooks i'd built in five years just softened, some of it fell over completely.
Content is becoming the cheapest form of leverage available to Founders. Much cheaper than ads and cheaper than hiring sales teams.
The founders who internalise this in 2026 will outcompete the ones who don't by an order of magnitude in 2030.
Thanks to
@rahul_reddy and
@Hiresh1403 and the entire Forge / Levelup Team for this cohort.
