There's often a lot of chatter about Betelgeuse, but Saiph is looking fairly dim this evening... #Astronomy #astrophotography #astrophysics #Orion #saiph

I've just accepted my degree from @OpenUniversity. I've worked so hard for so very long and was really disappointed with my result. I completed with a 2:2. I know I should be proud of myself for my achievement and I have keep reminding myself that astrophysics is hard.

The Open University is an incredibly supportive institution and I'd recommend it to anyone wishing to improve themselves. Lets have a crack at a masters now and hope there are fewer exams. #KeepLookingUp #Physics #astrophysics #highereducation

Shout out to some folks who have helped me along the way, even if they didn't know it. @Kayatiel - my wife and strength (she knows she helped keep me sane). @heidi_teaman @samleejackson @AstroAdamMc @AsassnCitizen @SuperWASP_stars @ajnorton3

Politically, the UK is an absolute shambles. Its really rather embarrassing. Perhaps rather than another leadership scrabble, we should have a general election. #GeneralElectionsNow

Oh, man, look at the ring!
Replying to @NASAWebb
Check out the bright waves, swirls, and vortices in Jupiter’s atmosphere — as well as the dark ring system, one million times fainter than the planet! Two moons of Jupiter, including one that’s only about 12 miles (20 km) across, are on the left.

Everything and Nothing was fantastic, so I'm looking forward to this.
Important Twitter announcement: I have a new two-part tv doc coming soon (May) to BBC4. It’s called Secrets of Size: Atoms to Supergalaxies, and is rather good, though I say so myself.
