Informative piece below on the folly of #AICOA #EU like legislation that would gum-up America's most popular e-commerce sites. Key excerpt: "For fear of violating the often-vague DMA regulations, US platforms have delayed tech rollouts on the continent, depriving EU citizens and small businesses of the latest innovations, conveniences, and services."

In 2013, Jamie Siminoff pitched his smart doorbell, DoorBot, on "Shark Tank" but faced rejection. However, the product, rebranded as Ring, was later acquired by Amazon for over $1 billion. He was later invited back to "Shark Tank" as a guest judge.

An especially notable development from @POTUS #AI #EO today … within 30 days key executive agencies “shall form an AI #cybersecurity clearinghouse, in voluntary collaboration with the AI industry and operators of critical infrastructure, that coordinates and deconflicts scanning for software vulnerabilities, discovers and validates such vulnerabilities, and coordinates and prioritizes remediation and distribution of vulnerability patches.”
Today @POTUS signed an EO that keeps America leading in AI while putting frontier AI capabilities to work strengthening our cyber defenses.
AI systems are now the most powerful tools we have ever had to harden our cyber infrastructure and stay ahead of adversaries. It is a real blessing that these capabilities are being developed by American industry, and not by those who would use them against us.
