Many people with Long COVID on X, like @healingfromlc report bad reactions to CT or MR contrast, especially sleep problems. I made a quick survey to collect more cases and share them with scientists. Please share to help us reach others who had bad reactions.⬇️⬇️

Experiences like this we're driving force behind the creation of helpforlongcovid. If you know of any doctors or clinics that do emphasize masking, and provide effective treatment, please add them here : helpforlongcovid.com/care-pr…

Salary is barely enough to cover rent. Now debt is in collections. Credit score plummets. Tariffs increase food prices. Landlord sends notice. Can’t find cheaper apt. Credit score too low for an apt. Friends can offer couch for 1 wk max. This is how homelessness starts.

This is a great opportunity to remind you that your highest possible risk of foodborne illness is consuming loose leaf lettuce and greens from the commercial market
Back to the food contamination, MAHA front. A 10 year old boy was hospitalized and developed kidney failure after eating lettuce contaminated with E. coli and the FDA will not provide the name of the company responsible for the outbreak.

This has to be one of the craziest admissions from A JUDGE that I've ever seen in a court transcript. What the hell are we doing here?!
Four students at Case Western Reserve University -- my university -- were told that their visas had been revoked and that they will need to leave the country, while the semester is still going. Now, turns out, they don't! What a complete sh*tshow. theintercept.com/2025/04/17/…

Most people don’t understand how *new* most cancer treatments are. The treatment that cured my lymphoma was developed when I was a teenager. The treatments that will cure our children’s cancers are being put on hold right now.
Replying to @MollyJongFast
Tons of talented scientists are losing their funding because a bunch of very rich people want a tax cut. Countless cures and treatments will be postponed or perhaps they will never come to fruition.

When fascists talk about locking away disabled people who can’t work, it is not helpful to say, “but I’m a disabled person who can work!” It doesn’t change that there will always be disabled people who can’t work. It doesn’t help the people being targeted.

Reminder that there was a whole entire Democratic presidency in between "kids in cages" and "mistakenly trafficked to El Salvador" and all they did in that interval was give ICE more money

Once again, a large number of American adults no longer know how or why things happen. They just assume that good stuff happens because it’s good, not because there’s some infrastructure or system in place to make it happen.

Sorry, but I won't be taking any form of medical advice about caring for people with disabilities from a guy whose family famously lobotomized and incapacitated one of their family members and spent decades covering it up. Nope nope fucking nope.

Some of y’all forget the reason we have food safety regulations is because companies used to do things like adding chalk to spoiled milk so it looked normal. Regulations don’t exist because governments enjoy them. They exist because pure unadulterated capitalism would kill us.

Using a 6% prevalence rate for #LongCOVID grossly underrepresents the crisis. In reality, it’s likely 20% especially in 2025 with reinfections. That’s 60M people in the U.S. Misusing 6% shrinks that to 20M, slashing funding, urgency, and public health response. #SpeakUp

Don't argue with RFK Jr's dehumanization of autistic people by saying, "Well I'm autistic/my son is autistic and I/he can do those things!" You're feeding into eugenics when you do that. Discard RFK Jr's argument wholesale: we don't measure human value that way.

isn’t it so great that doctors can just ruin your body with their negligence and they usually face little to no repercussions for it? while you suffer with lifelong disability?
