This is my friend, Joseph Mwasote, also known as China. China was abducted by police and security officers a few days before October 29, 2025. After he was taken, he was stripped of his clothes and brutally tortured. We had no idea where he was. We searched for him everywhere. His son went from one police station to another looking for him, but found no answers. China eventually resurfaced after last year’s election, physically and emotionally devastated by the torture he had endured. When he finally returned home, he learned the unthinkable: while he was being held in an undisclosed location, his son had been killed by the police.
