📖TEXAS PRIMARY: Attorney General, Agriculture Commissioner, Comptroller, Railroad Commissioner 👨‍⚖️Attorney General (R): Candidates - US Rep. Chip Roy, State Senator Mayes Middleton, State Senator Joan Huffman, Former DOJ Assistant AG Aaron Reitz. Chip Roy, a House Freedom Caucus member from Texas’ 21st Congressional District, and Mayes Middleton, a State Senator and Texas Freedom Caucus member, have led the way in polling. Joan Huffman, a moderate State Senator, trails in third, while Former Paxton Deputy, Aaron Reitz has struggled to gain traction, but had a strong debate performance. Middleton has easily led the way in fundraising. Reitz has the endorsement of current Attorney General Ken Paxton. It will likely head to a runoff between Chip Roy and Mayes Middleton.
