Well, I've been away for a while. Haven't been posting much. I've actually been in a state of unrest (funk) over this election. I'm 64 years old, and never have I ever felt a sense of doom and gloom over a presidential election. Until now.
In this election, racism, bigotry, and hate were the centerpieces. Americans allowed a con man to disparage Black people, Hispanic people, Muslims, immigrants, women, the LGBTQ community, and many other groups. Yet, they overwhelmingly agreed with him.
Somehow, America let an adjudicated sex offender convince them that he was the better choice. Even many of the groups he disparaged voted for him. Honestly, this election was over more than policies because Trump never presented America with any policies or a plan, only its fears and hate, and that was enough. Have a good day, good people.
