@alfred_nicol 's collection is so good the proofreader was moved to write a note praising the most striking aspects of the poems, with praise like "perfect" "masterly Shakespearean sonnet" "touching" "excellent" "heartbreaking" and my favorite comment: "out-Herricks Herrick"
