It all started with a student asked if I like chips. Of course I say yes. Next thing I know, as nerves for hosting the talent show build up, I receive a hand crafted bag with chips of compliments and good lucks in it. These students surely know how to put a smile on my face.

Sometimes as educators we get so caught up getting things completed that we neglect what the ss need sometimes. Instead of doing a normal brainstorm, we did a walk n’ talk to discuss what makes books good to prepare for writing reviews! @DAAElementary #activelearning

1DL engaged in a fun way to understand the importance of graphs. After tracking how high they stacked, they noticed that we couldn’t figure out who did what and there were too many numbers not in order. @DAAElementary #engagingmath #criticalthinking #data
