Very happy to present our new review paper on #suPAR! We highlight 10 properties that are shared by blood suPAR and systemic chronic inflammation, supporting the argument that suPAR is a biomarker of systemic chronic inflammation: frontiersin.org/articles/10.…
Excited to announce our new review on the potential of #fisetin as a senotherapeutic in humans! We explore the promise of targeting senescent cells for managing chronic diseases and outline key challenges for future research. sciencedirect.com/science/ar…#senescence#aging#healthcare
🎉 Excited to have our clinical trial authorized to study—for the first time in Denmark!—the effect of #fisetin in treating patients with chronic diseases to lower inflammation and reduce the burden of senescent cells.

Proud and grateful to receive an Inge Lehmann grant from the Independent Research Fund Denmark! I am very excited to dive into this project and investigate chronic inflammation in aging of the immune system and disease development. Thank you for the support @DFF_raad!

Interesting new findings from the Dunedin Study out now in @JAMAPediatrics, showing that smoking, obesity, and psychological disorders in adolescence are associated with accelerated aging later in life. Yet another reason to prevent or treat these conditions in young people!
In a study spanning five decades, adolescent smoking, obesity, or psychological disorder diagnosis were associated with older biological age at midlife. Treating these conditions early in life might slow aging. ja.ma/350uTzP

Writing a review on suPAR was the first task my PhD advisor @jespereugen gave me when I first started working with him as a research assistant 8 years ago. Better late than never, right? 😅
