The new immigration policy to FAST TRACK RESIDENCY for Interanational doctors is one of the finest the world has to offer (comparison below).
This historic change will address decades old inequalities non-EU doctors were facing in this health system.

Deeply disturbed by the assault & racial abuse of a Pakistani doctor outside A&E in Limerick!
In recent weeks, Iโve been contacted by more than four doctors who have faced racial attacks. Disturbingly, organised hate campaigns are being run on social media by certain groups.
With my teammates at Kerry Hospital today โ and itโs all green and gold! ๐ข๐ก

The emergency response teams and the army should be brought in to check on rural areas and smaller towns where electricity has not been restored yet, to make sure people have food & medical aid. Generators should be supplied at least.

We havenโt seen this handsome face for years, but have seen some recent small signs of improvement. If a child you know changes suddenly/brutally overnight think PANS/PANDAS. Early intervention with simple antibiotics could solve this. Wake up World ! I love you Son โค๏ธโค๏ธ
It was an absolute pleasure to deliver a talk on my journey of introducing immigration & training reforms for IMGs. It will retain skilled & trained professionals, improve patient safety & strengthen Irish health system for sure.

โThe ongoing family visa delays in Ireland are not just causing trouble; they are causing significant trauma for doctors . These dedicated professionals are sacrificing so much to be here, but they also need their families with them to maintain their well-being and effectivenessโ
Well done @nealerichmond. So we have thousands of new workers and taxpayers to meet our Labour needs and contribute taxes towards funding our health, welfare and pensions system. Good.
Those from abroad working in our health care should have their visas processed in a fair and timely fashion so they can be reunited with family if this is an option. The system needs to be fair and manageable for all willing/wanting to work here. Irish or foreign.
