Youtubekanalen ColdFusions video granskar SpaceX:s officiella börsnoteringsdokument från 2026 efter sammanslagningen med Elon Musks AI-bolag xAI.
Rubrikens varning om en katastrof i vardande fokuserar inte på rymdfarten i sig, utan på de dolda finansiella riskerna och den tekniska spelplanen bakom noteringen.
Innan fusionen var SpaceX ett välmående rymdbolag tack vare Starlink, men de nya dokumenten visar att hela 85 procent av bolagets framtida marknadspotential i själva verket baseras på AI och datacenter. xAI beskrivs i analysen som en trojansk häst där ett bolag som blöder nästan en miljard dollar i månaden förpackas i SpaceX välkända rymdvarumärke för att låta offentligt kapital täcka förlusterna.
Att SpaceX överhuvudtaget går till börsen ses som ett desperat drag för att finansiera skenande kostnader för AI-hårdvara, vilket bryter mot Musks tidigare strategi att hålla bolaget privat för att slippa aktiemarknadens kortsiktiga fokus på kvartalsrapporter.
SpaceX planerar nu att bygga ett rymdmoln med upp till en miljon AI-satelliter till år 2028, men videon lyfter fram brutala fysiska utmaningar med detta projekt.
Processorer i vakuum saknar naturlig luftkylning och har inget skydd mot kosmos bit-flips (strålning från rymden som bokstavligen går in och ändrar i datorers minne) eller solstormar och kräver därför tung och dyr strålskärmning.
Eftersom AI-hårdvara i regel åldras på tre år blir idén om svåruppgraderade orbitala datacenter både ekonomiskt och miljömässigt tvivelaktig enligt ColdFusion. Videon gör onekligen en skarp finansiell granskning men underskattar sannolikt de tekniska samverkanseffekterna.
Om SpaceX lyckas skala upp Starship faller kostnaderna för uppskjutning per kilo så extremt mycket att regelbundna hårdvaruuppgraderingar i omloppsbana faktiskt kan bli ekonomiskt gångbara.
Dessutom adresserar rymddatacenter ett verkligt geopolitiskt problem på jorden genom att flytta energislukande processorer till en miljö med outtömlig solenergi, samtidigt som de erbjuder datalagring utanför enskilda länders juridiska gränser.
Att kalla börsnoteringen en ren katastrof är en överdrift givet Musks historiska förmåga att vända konkurshot till succé, men ColdFusion har helt rätt i att risken för investerare har skjutit i höjden.
Så den som väljer att köpa aktien köper inte längre ett stabilt rymdmonopol, utan deltar i en enorm finansiell vadslagning om att framtidens AI-infrastruktur ska flytta upp i stratosfären.

The premise is that other people's lives, labor, and resources already belong to those who need them.
One group is expected to produce.
The other is entitled to receive.
The productive are judged by what they contribute.
The dependent by what they need.
Once you accept that premise, refusing a demand becomes aggression and self-interest becomes cruelty.
It's the creed of the parasite.

Exploitation of resources doesn't destroy the planet. It improves it for humans.
The goal isn't to leave nature untouched. Untouched nature gave us famine, disease, exposure, and poverty.
Human progress is the transformation of resources into value: oil into transportation, uranium into electricity, sand into computer chips, forests into homes.
If climate change is a problem, capitalism's solution is the same as always: innovation, efficiency, substitution, and adaptation.
Without "resource exploitation," most of humanity wouldn't be debating climate change. We'd be trying not to starve.

Imagine if Christianity were an ideology that commanded its followers to take over the world and install a theocratic government, and for 1,300 years its followers ran an empire that erased civilizations.
Then, when the empire fell, hundreds of Christian groups terrorized the world to reestablish it, and the majority of Christians knew that these groups represented Christianity and chose to ignore everything they did out of fear and resignation.
Now imagine a small minority of Christians decides to throw out Christianity as 2 billion people know it, taking some of the canonical scripture and reinterpreting it completely to make it compatible with the modern world.
Let’s call this group, for example, the Mormons.
Now these Mormons want us to consider them the true representatives of Christianity, even though Christians themselves don’t accept them as Christians, and when we say, “Sorry, you don’t represent Christianity,” they accuse us of being radicals.
That’s the problem.
We can’t accept the Muslim reformers as the authentic representatives of Islam, because their Islam is decoupled from the real thing: fourteen centuries of history and the example of Muhammad.
And the deeper reason we don’t accept you as the true representatives is that you are actually harming the West.
You deceive people into believing the problem isn’t the canonical scripture you’re busy reinventing, a reinvention no Muslim actually accepts, and in doing so you leave the West vulnerable.
Have the courage to admit that Islam itself is the problem, and that what you’re doing is inventing a new religion and calling it Islam too, only because your situation won’t let you abandon the religion altogether.
You are to Islam what Mormonism is to Christianity.
