You cannot pick and choose which parts of God's Word are true. If salvation is true, then healing is true. If forgiveness is true, then provision is true. If God can save a soul, He can restore a marriage. If He can raise the dead, He can open a door no man can shut. The Bible is not a buffet where we keep the verses we like and discard the ones that challenge our unbelief. Either God tells the truthβ€”or He doesn't. I have chosen to believe ALL of it. "Let God be true, but every man a liar." (Romans 3:4)

The blessing of God is more than a feeling. It is more than money. More than possessions. More than favorable circumstances. The blessing is the divine empowerment God placed upon mankind from the very beginning. "God blessed them, and God said unto them... have dominion..." (Genesis 1:28) Notice that the blessing came before the dominion. The blessing was God's authorization, ability, and empowerment to rule, multiply, increase, create, build, overcome, and prosper. Adam lost that authority through sin. Jesus restored it through the Cross. The blessing is not merely God giving you something. The blessing is God empowering you to produce, multiply, overcome obstacles, and exercise dominion in every area of life. You were not redeemed to barely survive. You were redeemed to walk in the authority, wisdom, favor, and dominion that Jesus purchased for you. Stop begging for permission to succeed. God already blessed you. Now exercise dominion.

So much truth to this. It is pointless ushering kids from grade to grade if the foundation is poor. Their inability to achieve grade level mastery will only begin to compound and erode their confidence.
When you’re teaching a majority of students who are several grade levels behind in reading and writing, you’ll always be pulled back to the basics. You can talk about rigor all day, but if students can’t decode, comprehend, and write clearly, none of it sticks. The simple things will always be calling, and they deserve your attention.

How accommodating are Jamaican businesses open to hiring persons with autism? Do any companies have specific policies for employees with this and other learning disabilities?

I would imagine the numbers to be lower in our setting simply because of the excessive demand on children’s time to prepare for PEP.
Both boys and girls have experienced a huge decline in reading for fun almost every day, but girls are dropping for a much higher level (65% in 1994)
