I’m catching up on poetry mail received while we were away. Excited to share my poem It, published in Australia’s Blast Off magazine, with beautifully eerie art by Ross Morgan.
Sometimes you need a Monday reminder that's there's a good reason to stick it out! Here's one from @LisaVPerron, from Issue 33, about the good things that come to those who wait.

I hope you can join us on September 14th at Whitelam Books! I’ll be doing a read-aloud along with my geologist husband/coauthor Taylor Perron. We’ll also have a Q&A, activity, and simple craft. All ages are welcome!

COVER REVEAL! 🥳
I’m so delighted to share this adorable cover, created by the lovely and talented @carmenmokstudio for our book ALFRED BLOOMS, coming 3/25/25 from @randomhousekids!
We had a wonderful visit this weekend at the Ginger Cat Bookshop (@GingerCatBkshop) in Bridge of Weir! I’m sad we’ll miss the upcoming Gryffe Valley Book Festival, but I saw a familiar name on the program—@JulieAnnaPoetry, whose work I first fell in love with via @TheDirigible.
Did you know that @TheDirigible offers audio recordings of many of the poems? Thanks for supporting poets from almost around the world and making these poems accessible! dirigibleballoon.org/poem/Ni…
Adorable art by David Legge for my poem in a recent issue of Blast Off. The poem was inspired by a dolphin-watching boat ride we took last summer. I kept wondering what the dolphins were thinking about US!
