3:10pm Friday: Flooding on the A 30 in East Stour by Udder Farm Shop is becoming tricky. We've just broadcast a report from the scene, on Alfred’s radio station. Water is relatively deep and if you're an inexperienced driver and don't have a 4X4 - best not to risk it. #Dorset

Alfred is a not-for-profit station. Boom is commercial radio. Neither takes a penny from the public purse. Whether you watch the BBC or not, tv owners must pay £170 a year or face jail. The BBC abuses your money to threaten self-funding innovative services like Boom. It's wrong.

At 0835 AM we heard from Kerry who says the B 3091 Sturminster Newton to Shaftesbury Rd is partially blocked on St. John's Hill in Shaftesbury because of a large vehicle- it seems that plant or machinery has had difficulty getting up the hill. There are queues.

Mark has contacted Alfred and says there's been an accident on the B3081 Shaftesbury to Gillingham Road by the Turnpike Showground turn-off. Cars are turning around and heading back towards #Shaftesbury due to the wait, and he reckons it's best to avoid it.
