Our students learn wherever they go! At @KCPS_BorderStar, LINC & Little Dragons partnered with @LiteracyKC to give students "Learning On The Go" kits, which included a backpack with reading materials, flash cards, two books, and a reading packet!

Meet Yolanda, our Director of Workforce Development. She oversees all of our workforce programs: Forklift, ServSafe, CNA, and Sewing. Yolanda seeks out additional opportunities to add to our program. She’s great and we love seeing her around the office in her fashionable clothes!

This is Diah Hanis! Diah graduated in Dec. after 1.5 years of HiSET classes with us. She’s still deciding on taking college classes or obtaining a certification in the computer science field. Like all of our students, she’s been amazing, and we wish her success in her next steps!

Meet Candice! Candice graduated earlier this year and has since started college at MCC, where she is pursuing a business certificate. She recently finished the Rightfully Sewn 10-week seamstress training program and hopes to one day work as a seamstress or fashion designer.
