This is a small but important action to show S.C. teachers how crucial and valued they are as members of our public education system.
There remains much more work to do to address the educator recruitment and retention issues facing our state and nation.

By vote of 120-0, the House has concurred with Senate amendments to H 3609, which will retroactively fund teacher step increases for 2020-21. The bill now goes to @henrymcmaster to sign into law.
