I did the same one evening in Phoenix when a headed up Piestewa Peak to see the sunset.๐ฅพ

I was just in Phoenix for a speaking event and had the time to sneak up Camelback Mountain afterward. It really exceeded expectations!! I love little bits of nature inside a city. And it had some pretty nice looking rock all over, though it was getting dark so it was slightly hard for me to tell where the actual climbing routes were.

Iโve been off the grid for a few days - no cell service or wireless.
Why?
Well โฆ we went on a grand adventure to the bottom of the Grand Canyon.
Over 2 days.
10 hours down.
12 hours up.
88,000 steps.
Almost 29 miles.
More than 5000 feet down.
More than 4000 feet up.
Over 17,000 calories burned.
13 months of planning.
The most amazing and physically demanding thing Iโve ever done.
And countless incredible memories.๐๐๐ฅพโ๏ธ
