Most of it is entitlement, but I think part of why men lose their shit when women don’t want them is that it just hurts more to be rejected by women than it does by men. A woman’s opinion of you says something deeper, it’s a signal that the tribe itself doesn’t want you, that you won’t be a part of the future of our species, it’s existential in a way that a man not wanting you just isn’t and never will be
