Remember that EVERY safeguard you take helps this pandemic. This isn't all-or-nothing. Every step you take - *each time* you wear a mask, filter air, get tested, get boosted, avoid crowded spaces, keep your sick kid home, etc. - reduces risk and decreases total infections.

Seeing people despairing and saying there's no point in precautions now. But that's just not true! Every COVID infection puts you at higher risk of bad outcomes, so fewer is better. Precautions help prevent strep, flu, and RSV, too. Don't give up. It's worth it to keep trying.

LinkedIn is now using everyone's content to train their AI tool -- they just auto opted everyone in. I recommend opting out now (AND that orgs put an end to auto opt-in, it's not cool) Opt out steps: Settings and Privacy > Data Privacy > Data for Generative AI Improvement (OFF)

Not law school graduations, but Massachusetts still publicly posts the list of people whose bar admission is pending to allow the public to object... mass.gov/info-details/notice…
I should be able to object at law school graduations

Still think about the partner who told junior associate me not to use exclamation points and please/thank you so often in my *internal* emails because it was "unprofessional."
Highkey love women who use a lot of explanation points in their work emails. Like yes ma’am let me know you’re friendly and a little anxious!

Amber Thurman went to the hospital with telltale signs of sepsis. It took 20 hours for doctors to intervene with a dilation and curettage procedure after abortion became a felony in Georgia. By then, it was too late. propublica.org/article/georg…

Amber Thurman was 28 years old. She loved being a mom to her six-year-old boy. Her last words to her own mother: "“Promise me you’ll take care of my son.” Her son will grow up without his mom because of Donald Trump's Dobbs' decision and Georgia's MAGA abortion ban.

My colleague now thinks I'm a mind reader because she shared the text of a joke about the business and Legal and I asked her if it was @ItsMattsLaw or @heyitsalexsu. (For the record, it was Matt.)

Hi Keisha, thank you for sharing Share the Fair! STF supports our local school communities, so if your school is having a Fair, donations can be made via a child or teacher's e-wallet, rounding up a purchase, or contributing to a coin box. Find out more at Scholastic.com/share-fair

This is a complete occupational health and safety failure. There is no way Noah Lyles should have been allowed to compete—and endanger himself—and expose others to Covid. He should have been in isolation for days.

Underappreciated reason to want Walz to be VP: it would result in Minnesota having the nation's first female Native governor, Peggy Flanagan.

Normalize women celebrating women whose lives are different than their own. We love to see it!
As a married/childful woman, I think single/childless women should actually brag more.

I'm pretty sure I could do the part where they walk in in their warm up suits, but after that, nada. I don't know that I could even successfully do their arm-up waves to the crowd - my shoulder would scream.
pretty crazy how if i tried even one thing that the olympic gymnasts do, i would die instantly

Identity is not binary. It is intersectional. It is not either-or. It is both-an. I am both Black and Latino. Vice President Kamala Harris is both Black and South Asian. Millions of Americans like us contain multitudes, and none of our multitudes are mutually exclusive. A mind as antiquated as Trump’s cannot seem to comprehend the multi-racial and multi-ethnic mosaic that is the United States of America.

Wonton noodle soup, with honorable mentions to pho ga, chicken corn soup, and split pea soup. Unless I'm sick, in which case the only acceptable choices are my mom's spaetzle soup, Grandma's four ingredient soup, or juk.

A coworker was sure it was just allergies. Now multiple team members have COVID because they trusted that person. And no, a single negative at-home test doesn't prove you don't have COVID - false negatives are a real thing.
Y’all please stay home if you’re sick and please test instead of just saying “I’m sure it’s allergies.” The courthouse staff and attorneys are dropping like flies. I know several people who have Covid for the first time and even more who have it for the 4th or 5th time.

Minnesota has voted for the Democratic presidential candidate for the last 12 elections. It is the longest unbroken streak of any state and yes we are rightfully proud of it.
