Steve captured the spirit and the will essential to the fight for justice, and did so with generosity, grace and a warm smile for those he worked with. I am deeply saddened by his passing, but grateful for his friendship and the example that he set for those that follow.
On Mar 1, 2022 BAC & the labor movement lost a friend and a champion in Steve Nelms, BAC Director of Organizing. Our hearts go out to Steve's family and we will honor his legacy as he would want. "Don't waste anytime mourning. Organize!"
