Patients are not hormone receptor positive. Their cancers are. Patients are not metastatic. Their cancers are. When we write like this—in conf abstracts, in manuscripts, in protocols—it is dehumanizing.

#EPFCongress19 Health literacy is certainly a real issue requiring improvement, but is it also the core solution or panacea, as a bit suggested? The underlying dogma is that understanding drives behavour. Evidence says it does not necessarily (smoking, lifestyle, environment).
