The London Assembly Planning and Regeneration Committee want to hear about how the May 2026 heatwave affected Londoners and how they stayed cool.
The UK has just seen its earliest heatwave on record, with spring and May temperature records broken on consecutive days. Consequently, the Committee is looking into how heatwaves affect Londoners and how homes can be better prepared for extreme heat in the future.
