What does it mean to walk in London? Not just as a way of getting from A to B, but as something political, ecological, historical, communal, and quietly radical? Do London Differently, the London Walking Festival’s podcast series for 2026.

I've completed the London 100 Mile Walking Challenge for #LondonWalkingFestival!!
One of the things I've learned is how walking is the best way to discover the remnants of the capital's amazing past which are still scattered around our streets & neighbourhoods.
Thrilled that the Green Roots Fund will expand our small grants program and help us support more 430 projects over the next two years. 💚

ALT Colourful illustrated poster promoting River Revive Saturday. The design shows people of different ages litter picking beside Norbury Brook, with trees, water, and wildlife in the background. Main text reads: “River Revive Saturday – 20 September 2025, 10am to 1pm, Thornton Heath Recreation Ground.” The event invites the local community to join a fun and positive clear-up of the brook, described as a vital blue corridor for nature and people. Aim: cleaner water, healthier habitats, stronger community.
