One idea that seemed popular on Saturday was no testing three weeks leading up to the event.
Track charges more on pit passes to make up for lost track rental money. Then, the teams who want to mock up for every single practice session can buy tires to their hearts content.

Iβm hard-pressed to understand how and why teams spend plenty of Thousands just on Private Testing, days before you get 6 hours on Thursday of Derby week. Yet it still happens.
