My father Ibrahim Alkhateeb passed away yesterday. He spent a month in the ICU after being senselessly shot while driving.
For anyone who happens to be in the Dallas-Ft Worth area, his janaza will be at Valley Ranch Islamic Center after the 1:45 jum'ah prayer tomorrow.

Too many people are unaware of the depth of the Islamic sciences. My generation was brought up on a lot of platitudes and slogans. More people need to be exposed to how the Islamic sciences work so they gain an appreciation for what the Prophet ļ·ŗ left for us.
