Wow. That’s some serious commitment. Not a good era to be bearish AI. Goes on to say: “The idea is to rely on local suppliers including Huawei Technologies Co. for at least 80% of technology such as AI chips, effectively squeezing out $NVDA and $AMD”

Taps sign. The irony might be that it’s irrelevant for oil and risk assets cause after a while nobody gaf.
Middle East ceasefires almost never resolve the underlying conflict, they freeze it. Both parties tend to use ceasefires as pauses to rearm, regroup, or reposition politically. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

Positioning is crowded, markets ran hard, this is no suprise. I would not rush to conflate macro, flow & technical signals with a fundamental AI thesis break though. Completely different set of indicators to watch (AI capex, token spend, frontier lab runrates, memory prices).

Like I said, Colombia will likely swing to the right and pro US. It’s the desired outcome for the current US administration but more importantly most Colombians are sick and tired of leftist policies under Petro.
Replying to @LowAlphaHighVol
This ties in with the 2nd catalyst that Petro's party will not win reelection. I'm sure as hell the US will not allow anyone other than a US friendly right leaning candidate to win. And if not, well we know what will happen. So I think Colombia shifts to the right also.

Musk runs Tesla like a Hong Kong family conglomerate: voting control demanded beyond his stake, related-party tangles across SpaceX/xAI/X, a board Delaware ruled captured, and minorities told to like it or leave. The tycoon model, just in English and in space.
