Many of the "background" actors in the casino scenes of Casino (1995) were actual high-level casino pit bosses and dealers from Las Vegas. Martin Scorsese hired them to ensure the hand movements and floor management looked 100% authentic to the era.

NEW: Vermont State Police trooper heroically saves an 8-year old girl from a freezing cold pond after she fell through the ice.
HERO!
Vermont State trooper Michelle Archer was seen on footage plunging into the freezing pond to rescue the child.
The girl’s 6-year old sibling was also rescued by a nearby homeowner.
Thanks to Archer’s heroic actions, the girl was able to make a full recovery and has returned home.
