80 yo cp foreign body on CXR failed attempt to snare IR( wire?) brought to cath snaring through T24 planned. Turned out to be kyphoplasty embolism.think twice before snaring KP. Eventually was able to retrieve with INARI Flowtriever disk. #cardiotwitter @ekgpdx @RajTayal2

I’ve snared a lot of FB in the past but this was definitely different and challenging. A long thin Structure that coiled on itself and hardened every time you grab it with a snare a small piece breaks and settles in a distal branch.still better than taking a risk of large prox PE

I did PTA of ulnar and got good flow but the radial is bigger and has 3 areas of focal stenosis. Ulnar was occluded so I got nothing to lose if it closed again but it’s different fir the radial
