Our beloved Patron and dear friend Dr. Ronnie Dunne sadly passed away this afternoon. She was a living legend with the biggest personality. Her support to Lyric Opera was unfailing, and we adored her. Our love goes to Judy and the entire family. Ronnie will never be forgotten 💙
Thrilled with the wonderful response to our Live Culture offering in collaboration with the Italian CulturE Institute at the beautiful Fitzwilliam Square. Great singing from Rachel and Gemma and our star pianist Annalisa.

It is devastating to comprehend that this great Irish singer, friend and colleague has sadly passed away. Her gift and artistry will be greatly missed by many who knew her incredible God given talent. It was an honour to know her and work with her. Valhalla has beckoned. RIP.

What can we say. The entire cast, sinfonua, Carlow Choral society, the ITW children, the Lyric Opera chorus created something quite special for the city of Dublin and also to commemorate this special Beethoven year. We honoured him well. It was a joy.
Very happy to have caught 'Fidelio' last night by @LyricOperaIre, an excellent production with an outstanding cast. A mystery to me why Lyric Opera's productions wouldn't be deserving of @artscouncil_ie funding, allowing a very eager audience to enjoy them on a theatre stage.
