In Southeast Wisconsin, Waukesha ( 3,463), Ozaukee ( 1,510) & Washington ( 932) counties saw a higher rate of population growth that the U.S. overall during the pandemic period of April 2020 to July 2022.

Fun fact: Milwaukee is a national leader in office conversions. Since 2015, over 1.5 million SF of office space has been converted to roughly 900 apts & 520 hotel rooms. For scale, this represents 7% (🤯) of CBD inventory. Stay tuned - 1.4 million SF more could be on the way.

Increased demand for @ABBNorthAmerica's electrification & automation products has helped its New Berlin drives business see double-digit growth in recent yrs. The global mfr expects 700 employees at the new site, as it moves out of its current New Berlin facility & Tosa offices.

With the $17M upgrades & expansion, @charterMFG expects to add 16 employees. The company has 235 workers at it two MKE plants, and a total of 2,400 employees across its family of companies. Family-owned Charter is headquartered in Mequon and runs a large steel mill in Saukville.
