We're excited for so many people to see what living in the Seattle area is all about!
The long-awaited floating soccer field hosted by the Sounders and Reign FC arrived in Seattle on Tuesday and made its way through Elliot Bay. The project, called “Seattle Soccer Celebration powered by Lenovo,” will center around a custom-built soccer field atop a maritime vessel docked near Pier 62 at Waterfront Park. The official ribbon-cutting ceremony to kick off the Seattle Soccer Celebration, powered by Lenovo, is on Wednesday at Pier 62. Several speakers from the community, including representatives from Reign FC, Sounders FC, Friends of Waterfront Park, and Seattle Sports Commission, will be in attendance. Millions of Americans are struggling to afford housing. One of the most impactful ways we can solve this problem is by increasing supply. Met with the Master Builders Association today to discuss how we build more affordable housing in our community & my legislation that would help finance thousands more affordable homes in WA.
