Fatal fires rose last year and though fatalities are down from 2022, the increase in fatal fires is extremely troubling. Each death is a loved one and together we can lower fatal fires in our communities! Test smoke alarms monthly and practice a home fire escape plan. #FireSafety

Crews responded to a structure fire this morning, house fully involved upon arrival. Homeowner was woken up by a smoke alarm and he was able to safely exit the home. Working smoke alarms save lives !! It's a simple as that. #savedbythebeep @ONFireMarshal

Great outcome last night for a hunter lost in the bush. All agencies, @WestGreyPolice @hanoverfd @GreyParamedics West Grey Fire, @MGH_Fire worked well together. Drone thermal technology was used to locate the hunter that allowed crews to walk in an make patient contact.
