Last night under the gold dome of the Iowa State Capitol and this morning in the committee room testifying before @IowaSenate Judiciary subcommittee in opposition to HF2542.
The bill advanced, but members raised concerns about cost, scope, and balance. Grateful for the chance to speak and praying for wisdom in the decisions ahead.

Over 153,000 people incarcerated in the federal Bureau of Prisons. Over 35,000 employees. They need an independent place to go when abuse, neglect, waste, and fraud occur. @FAMMFoundation is grateful the Federal Prison Oversight Act is being funded - prisons are dark, and Americans deserve transparency.
