Thrilled to offer intestinal ultrasound at the University of Wisconsin—a real-time, non-invasive tool for IBD care. Huge thanks to those who trained me @krugcleveland & @amelia_kellar, and to @uw_medicine for the spotlight! 🙏 medicine.wisc.edu/news/05292… #IBD #IntestinalUltrasound

Proud of @MLutzMD presenting our TXI dysplasia detection study at #DDW2026 — texture and color enhancement imaging outperforming standard of care in IBD surveillance colonoscopy. Exciting implications for dysplasia detection in our highest-risk patients. @uw_GIHep

Are your patients with IBD asking about monkeypox vaccine? Read our summary in @IBDJournals, and remember: 💉immunosuppressed status alone ≠ need for monkeypox vaccine 💉when indicated, JYNNEOS vaccine is safe in the immunosuppressed @uw_GIHep @FarrayeIBD academic.oup.com/ibdjournal/…

Combination therapy is used commonly with vedolizumab and ustekinumab! For ustekinumab, maybe just as commonly as combo with anti-TNF. We need more prospective studies on efficacy and safety of this practice. Read more here: healio.com/news/gastroentero… @dr_fcalderaibd @EdBarnesMD

I’ve heard these stats before, but still very eye opening 🙍🏽‍♀️ Gender preferences for endoscopists exist among pts, esp women 🙍🏻‍♀️ #CRC screening completion rates are improved when gender specified endoscopist available 🙍🏿‍♀️ Currently, 17.6% of the #GI workforce is female #DDW2021
