It's good. Highly recommend.

There are only seven basic tweets. Dunking on celebrity, milkshake duck, the essay, fandom drama, pun, dogwhistle, and 'I'm leaving Twitter'

Once again putting out a call for a sensitivity reader! Paid position, I need a trans or nonbinary reader to help me with a trans character's backstory and generally with my outline to avoid harmful tropes. Possible elements include transphobic parents/family. DM if interested!

I've got the people I need, thank you all!
Just after making this thread about how I feel that a lot of predatory services exist to profit off of authors, I got followed by a book promotion service. I don't think they read the thread...
#AuthorsOfTwitter #indieauthorchat I'm trying to fight the cynicism and burnout, but it's getting harder and harder. The more I try and progress as a self published author, the more I get the feeling that I'm not a creator selling my work, I'm just a mark. 1/

Not everyone's bad. I've met some truly wonderful people. Friends and colleagues who I am so glad to know. But it's getting harder and harder to extend that trust after being burned so many times. 13/

I wish I had a better thesis to end this. I don't. I'm just not sure at what point I pack it in and go back to writing novels in a composition notebook and abandoning the idea of publishing. I'm tired. 14/Fin

Hey there! I need a #SensitivityReader for a fairly large project - paid position, though I don't have a huge budget. Details below, but for broad strokes: I would like feedback from a person who uses sign language, preferably who is also autistic.

My budget is a hundred dollars per book; (I'm aware that's low and I'm sorry I can't offer more,) DM me or reply here if you're interested. Thank you!

To add: I'm also happy to do a service trade/reading in exchange/addition to money! I can do sensitivity readings for autistic characters, as well as in-depth beta feedback.
