We continue to work closely alongside our US allies to help evacuate as many people as we can from Afghanistan.
So far on Op PITTING, the UK Armed Forces have brought home more than 10,000 people since 13 August.

It was originally thought there were 640 Afghans being evacuated in the picture.
The US military's now confirmed there were 823 on board the C-17 Globemaster III.

We're working around the clock alongside @ukhomeoffice and @DefenceHQ staff to support British Nationals and Afghans who have worked with us.
Over 2,400 people have been evacuated so far and we're continuing to work on the ground in Kabul to help get more people to safety.
