“if a hospital has made it this long despite all of Trump’s actions and still is offer GAC to minors, then they’re not exactly “risk averse”.” This is a good point. Basically every time over the last year and a half that the federal government does something seemingly big regarding gender transition procedures that could put hospitals at risk, people are eager to say hospitals will just stop gender transition procedures all together to avoid the risks. But like, if they’ve made in this long and still haven’t stopped despite all the big risks, then they’re clearly not risk averse.
If just the risk of being investigated was enough to get them to fully stop though, they probably would’ve stopped over a year ago. Like, if a hospital has made it this long despite all of Trump’s actions and still is offer GAC to minors, then they’re not exactly “risk averse”.

Maybe in the UK, but countries with self ID are still very far behind and will have a much harder time getting there, while some like Australia are going in the exact opposite direction. Even in the UK there’s still more battles that need to be won such as stopping the ‘conversion therapy’ ban etc. The battle is still far from over worldwide…

9/ This is the end of Trans Activism. You thought you would get "your rights" by destroying ours You thought you grown heterosexual men who keep your penises would get away with chemically and physically castrating gay boys You thought women would be too kind to say no

I think it’s important to note that medical gender transition procedures (for kids and adults) have been heavily restricted in Singapore for many years. So it’s not like they strongly supported it like some other countries but then suddenly changed their mind.
Outstanding news! Singapore’s Ministry of Health has issued guidance that children with gender dysphoria should NOT be offered puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones or surgical treatment. The world is shutting this madness down!

For those who thought PAS might be becoming more tolerant of different views:
Just received an email banning me from the Pediatric Academic Societies Conference for “multiple code of conduct violations”

The process is punishment. Even though this time this panel may be lucky, the next time another organizer may think twice before green lighting such a panel. When Erin Reed made the post, the punishment for scientific inquiry started. If you support academic freedom and integrity, you should condemn Erin Reed.

I just heard that ACCME apparently sent out this letter saying they’re opening a formal inquiry into the situation. It gives PAS 20 days to respond so obviously it won’t be completed by tomorrow. But it sounds like if violations are found afterwards they could still be penalized
