Statement from Governor @tatereeves on the passing of Representative @pricewallace
.@firstladyofms and I are saddened to learn of Representative Price Wallace’s passing. Price was a good man and the one thing about him that always stood out to me - he was some one who loved people and he just had a big heart.  He loved his family, he loved Simpson county, and he loved serving the people of Mississippi! Elee and I are praying for Cindy and the entire Wallace family during this incredibly difficult time. He will be missed.

Statement from Speaker @JasonWhiteMS following the passing of Representative @pricewallace. The Mississippi Statewatch team sends our thoughts and prayers to his family, friends & colleagues.
It is with heavy hearts that we pause to reflect on the passing of our friend and colleague in the Mississippi House of Representatives, State Representative Price Wallace. Price served in the House for nine years and cared deeply about his constituents in Rankin and Simpson County. As Chairman of the House Constitution Committee, he led on landmark legislation such as restoring the Ballot Initiative that the House passed numerous times. He believed in restoring the constitutional right for Mississippians to have a fair and accessible means of influencing state policy. A poultry farmer and constant advocate for Mississippi agriculture – Price was a proud Republican and an asset to our state. He was always so proud of his kids and certainly enjoyed the title of granddaddy. We will miss our friend in the House. Please join me in keeping his wife, Cindy, and his family in your prayers. A good man, may he rest in peace.
