Faith in Flux: Christian Leadership Lessons from Classroom to Boardroom
Release date - May 1, 2026
What does it look like to lead with unshakable faith when everything around you is changing?
In a world of constant change, this collection of essays distills four years of doctoral research at Liberty University into a practical, faith-grounded exploration of educational leadership, ethics, and modern pedagogy.
Author Michael W. Cook bridges the gap between rigorous academic scholarship and accessible prose, weaving in candid military anecdotes and a distinctly Christian worldview to make complex ideas both relatable and actionable.
Ready to lead with conviction when the ground is shifting beneath your feet?
Faith in Flux shows you how.

To give you a closer look, here is the official Top 10 list over the last century. 📊
James and Mary hold the absolute crown! 👑

Thanks for your critique, Janet. We actually tried a couple of episodes where House (Hugh Laurie) (please put the brackets in the right place) gets it right first time, but they were only 6 minutes long. NBC weren’t happy. Then we tried some where House never gets it right and the patient dies. The audience wasn’t happy.
One could apply your trenchant analysis to other art forms: JS Bach wrote 30 Goldberg variations on the same chord structure; Frida Kahlo painted 50 portraits of herself; Henry Moore, what??
The point is, or was, variations on a theme; if all you see is hospital, medical blah blah, then it wasn’t meant for you.
Nonetheless, I look forward to your first novel!
History confirms that states which chronically fail to protect their citizens fail.
They fall because this leaves the populace highly vulnerable, often fragmenting or succumbing to outside forces.
This fundamental flaw frequently triggers a cascading effect: when a government is unable to provide physical security, economic stability, or essential services, it loses its legitimacy among the populace.
This internal breakdown then creates the perfect conditions for collapse (either through a popular revolt or an opportunistic foreign invasion).

George Lucas:“The secret is not to give up hope. It’s very hard not to because if you’re really doing something worthwhile I think you will be pushed to the brink of hopelessness before you come through the other side.”

Do you cook your own meals?
New Japanese research (published in the Journal of Epidemiology & Community Health) tracked over 10,000 adults aged 65 for six years.
The finding: Cooking a meal from scratch at least once a week was linked to a substantially lower risk of dementia.
-Beginners learning for the first time → 67% lower risk
-Experienced cooks → 23% lower risk in men / 27% lower risk in women
Why? Kitchen duties fire up the brain areas responsible for planning, timing, problem-solving and working memory; the exact cognitive skills that tend to decline with age.(Study led by Dr Yukako Tani from the Japan Gerontological Evaluation Study.)
Your stove might literally be protecting your brain. What’s one simple meal you actually enjoy making from scratch?
