If someone had told me 15 years ago that I'd some day believe the Iranian Ayatollah regime of Iran to be more credible than the US President, I'd told that person to check in at a psychiatric hospital, but here we are. I believe it regarding the 10 point list.
🇺🇲🇮🇷 Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf:
"A statement on the violation of three main points of the 10-point proposal (agreed framework) before the start of negotiations.
Our deep historical distrust towards the United States stems from its repeated violations of various commitments — a pattern that, unfortunately, has repeated itself.
As the President of the United States clearly stated on his Truth platform, the Islamic Republic of Iran's 10-point proposal represents a "workable basis for negotiations" and the main framework for these negotiations. However, three points of this proposal have already been violated:
1- Non-fulfillment of the first point of the 10-point proposal concerning a ceasefire in Lebanon — a commitment directly addressed by Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who defined it as an "immediate ceasefire everywhere, including Lebanon and other regions, to come into effect immediately";
2- A drone that violated Iranian airspace and was destroyed in the city of Lar in Fars Province, which is a clear violation of the point prohibiting any further violations of Iranian airspace;
3- Denial of Iran's right to enrichment, which was included in the sixth point of the framework.
Now, the very "workable basis for negotiations" has been openly and clearly violated, even before the start of negotiations.
In such a situation, a bilateral ceasefire or negotiations are unreasonable."
