"It's a pub destroyer. Pubs can't survive these kinds of increases. It's not viable. Most pubs are just about scraping by anyway. If you add these massive increases your profit margins are wiped out. We struggle as it is."
"We're sort of in the average area at 157%, but we've got a lot of local pubs that are increasing by 600% & another one by 800%. You can't have that kind of increase & expect businesses to succeed, said Mark Ambrose of the Barking Cat Ale House in Poole.

These are the people who blocked the swift brick amendment last night. 102 Labour Peers thanks to the rather extreme 3 line whip which just goes to show how much #Labour do NOT want to help nature let alone swifts. Normally a 3 line whip is used for fairly extreme amendments.

So pleased that the reinstated Jennings Brewery has brewed its first beer. “Back Yam”, which means back home, will be available very soon. I’ve also been informed the brewing masterpiece, Sneck Lifter, is planned to be brewed too! Rejoice!🎉😋🍻👏
