I find myself at a loss for how to process the events unfolding each day. Every morning, I wake up to the grim updates of what Russia has destroyed while I slept: the number of casualties, the sites of attacks—hospitals, ambulances, schools—no place is sacred. Then i go online only to encounter the words of elected officials, those who represent people of the most influential countries on Earth spew vile, insulting, dehumanizing bullshit justifying murder of my people. They don't just refuse to help. They celebrate us die. What was once unthinkable is now celebrated. nothing seems to make sense anymore.

I'm rooting for "20 Days in Mariupol" to win the Oscar tonight. It is a powerful documentary that shatters your heart and leaves you in tears. It's hard to watch, but very important to witness. If you haven't seen it yet, I strongly urge you to do so to understand the true horror russia inflicted on Ukraine.
